The Junior Financial Advisor position at BDFS demands someone with a go getter attitude. Experience has taught us that we need someone who is willing to put in extra effort at the start of their career in order to set themselves up for success later down the road. This candidate will have to work towards goals with the help of their mentors and supervisor. BDFS understands that setting this type of career takes dedication and time which is why we provide a declining salary for the first few years while the candidate gains their licensing (company paid) and gathers a client base to support their income eventually when the position will switch to commission only with the potential for bonuses along with our benefit offerings.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, mandatory
- A Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- A background in finance, preferred
- Someone on the track to becoming a CFP® is a plus
- Experience working in a database and data entry
- Likeable personality and kind disposition
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities
- Being a connected individual is highly helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Fiduciary belief system
- Collaborative approach to growing the firm
- Organized and self-motivated mindset
- Willingness to network (some events are held after business hours)
- Transportation to Rehoboth Beach office (this position is in-person only)
